Over the last six months we have been stripping off many clay pantile roofs and replacing with concrete tiles. This led me to wonder why, natural products are being disregarded for man made tiles.
The Tilehurst Roofing tribute bikes have now been packed away. Working with R.A.F.A and many other R.A.F organisations the show bikes raised a lot of funds, and much awareness of the brave air crews of the war years.
Stormy weather With the big lead up to the productive high winds and rain, the event was less dramatic than forecast. Sunday saw Tilehurst Roofing's - John Elliott storm to a third overall in the new Evo class for quad racing. The newly introduced Evo class is for older Quad bikes, to be used in a competitive race, without facing the new high tech bikes used today.
With the introduction of dry fix ridge and hip systems to new houses being built under N.H.B.C guidelines. A new mechanically fixed, and bedded system has now been developed.
