Summers definitely over and autumn always marks the end to our school summer holiday roofing works. As usual Tilehurst Roofing have been busy and under pressure to complete a series of roofing works to various schools in Reading and the surrounding areas.
Works were varied this year, everything from a few days carrying out tile repairs to 6 weeks re-roofing 2 cottages in a schools grounds.
We were also asked to carry out a very large moss clearance job at a local school with only two weeks before the children returned to school. A bit short notice, but works were complete.
We filled a skip with the moss removed!
One teacher commented “‘I thought we had a slate roof….not tiles”
After the pressure together with limited time, we can settle back and carry out works at a less frantic pace. But hope the rain holds off.
