So much for flaming June – “wettest on record”

Britain was hit again recently with heavy rain and wind, which claimed one life.

Railway lines were closed after landslides near Berwick, cars were wrecked and forced thousands to evacuate their homes.

In Newcastle a months rain fell in 2 hours.

Upto 15000 homes faced blackouts.

The freak weather was blamed on a ‘supercell’ rotating thunderstorm.
