With the summer School break well under way, we as usual are busy trying to complete all our school roofing and repair works.
The weathers been on our side, so all our school works are going well so far. There are obvious problems with working on this during term time, so we are limited to a short window when all the kids are off.
Just to add more pressure on us, a large re-roof was thrown into the pot.
The Peppard War Memorial Hall is being closed down for a month for various major works, including a complete new roof.
The roofing contractor who was originally assigned the re-roofing works, pulled out at the last minute, putting the owners under real pressure.
The committee then asked if we could ‘Fit it in’ during the summer.
So the Tilehurst Roofing team have helped out and we are now well underway with another large contract.
Just hope we have dry weather…………………
